Our coaching is particularly efficient and effective due to the deep level of understanding that informs our coaching practice.
Our primary coach, Mark Davidson, has worked in personal and professional development since the 1990s. He found coaching to be such a good way to help people, but he was frustrated with what the coaching industry as a whole had to offer. There was so much nonsense spoken! The bodies that set themselves up to regulate the coaching industry hadn’t gone beyond the models of coaching that emerged in the 1990s. Better was possible.
So, with his background in philosophy, Mark set out to develop a mechanism-level understanding of the coaching process. How exactly does coaching deliver its benefits? What exactly does a coach have to do for their coaching to be effective? If the aim of coaching is to help people fulfil their potential to live well, what does this mean in practice?
Mark’s investigations enabled him to develop the next-generation coach training courses that our sister company, Coachwise, offers. Now he is providing his own coaching services through Wiselines.
